The 'big plan' is to travel across Africa from South to North starting on 4th July 2005 in Namibia. You can see the planned route by going to the Route page. We are planning to do the Eastern route. Estimated at around 22,000 miles (35,000 kms).
We are a couple of accountants (yeah really!) Ivan Matthews and Rachel Mack-Smith. We are taking a 12 month career break (aka mid life crisis!) to do the trip and fulfil an ambition (also Carpe Diem methinks!). Happy to receive emails, just click on the mail links.
